Coffee Cherry Tea

Where coffee meets tea
What is cascara? A delightful exotic natural 'tea' made from the outer layer of the cherry fruit that is produced from the coffee plant. The name "cascara" is derived from the Spanish word for husk. A fitting name for the pulped skins that are sun dried and brewed into a delicious fruity tea.

At Boonton Coffee we love that the popularity of cascara is growing and that more of the coffee plant can be used instead of becoming a byproduct of the coffee process.
There isn't an exact recipe for brewing cascara. We recommend brewing in hot water although also delicious as an iced tea or cold brew.
Experiment by adding lemon or ginger.

We are currently offering cascara in store, contact us to order online www.BoontonCoffee.com
