At Boonton Coffee, we're always looking for new ways to prepare and taste our freshly roasted coffee and it's not always in liquid form. Coffee desserts are one of our favorite methods to sneak in some caffeine in the evening and satisfy that sweet tooth at the same time. One of our go to coffee desserts is an Italian favorite "Affogato". This dessert is one of the easiest to prepare, especially for a large group of guests. All you do is put some good quality vanilla ice cream (or gelato) in a cup and pour over a shot of hot espresso. We have found that it works well with our cold brew (also a great time saver for a group). This dessert is also great with a shot of liqueur like Amaretto or Baileys....or chocolate sauce and crumbled Graham crackers. There's always an Irish coffee if you can't be bothered with the prep!
