Boonton Coffee likes to put our spent coffee grounds to use and we offer left over grounds to our customers to take home. There are many ways to use grounds and one of our favorites is for gardening. Try some of the uses below and take advantage of our free grounds!

With spring in sight we recommend creating a mound of grounds around your plant beds

to help fend off plant harming insects like slugs and ants.

Certain plants and flowers like acidic soil (Roses, Azaleas and Gardenias). Mix our grounds into the soil at the base of the plant to increase acidity levels.

Nitrogen is essential for plant growth. To help your seedlings you can add our grounds to the water or soil to give them a nitrogen boost.

The next time you're in store, bring a bag or container and take some grounds home! Located by the bakers rack in the front of the shop at 516 Main St, Boonton.
